I have a client that has requested the ability to allow special characters (\,/,#, etc) in a Lot Number. While you can segment lot numbers, and use those characters as seperators, these Lot Numbers are vendor supplied, and vary in length depending on the vendor. They desperately want the ability to use the special characters. Even being able to turn them off like in I/C would be helpful.
