Currently the posting of an IC Assembly with Lot Tracking installed only permits the assignment of one lot number to the assembled quantity. Technical Support has indicated that this is by design. However, we have encounted more than one client which has the need to assign multiple lot numbers to the assembled quantity. It would be more efficient to do this from the IC Assembly rather than having to enter the full quantity under one Lot and then have to Split the Lot through Lot tracking or to have to do two separate assemblies.
