While I am in SageCRM I want to be able to analyze my sales data which comes from Accpac. This will allow my CRM users to drill into their sales data with out using any Accpac resources.

  • Clients ask us for this all the time. There is often a time lag between a salesperson closing a CRM opportunity and the sale being invoiced to the customer. There are often discrepancies in amount. There would be many reasons why one opportunity may not compare to one sales transaction. So it would be great to see the sales for the customer, with each sale referencing the CRM opportunity, if applicable.

  • I'm pretty sure you'll be able to do this with the new Accpac Intelligence that will ship with 5.6. I could be wrong though.

  • That is correct - Accpac Intelligence has an add-on which allows you to generate reports that can then be embedded into CRM. We are still in the testing stages of this add-on but once we are done we will release the add-on for Accpac Intelligence.

  • This is a fundamental/critical short fall with Sage CRM. Clearly having CRM users (who are usually sales reps) be able to see actual sales and sales to budget by customer (data already stored in ERP Uni Sales) when viewing a customer in CRM is basic stuff that Sage CRM can not do!!!

All of Sage's talk of ERP/CRM intergration is misleading when you can't even give your sales reps basic sales data by customer from ERP in CRM.

We have used the new Accpac Intelligence (it's called Alchemex) and it has serious short comings compared to the previous Accpac Query offering (from Stonefield Query).

If Sage where serious about ERP/CRM intergration we, as users, should be able to write reports in CRM that access actual sales data & budget data without having to use another piece of software.

You can't even write reports in CRM that use the Optional Fields that are populated from ERP.

VOTE FOR THIS NOW - It needs to happen as soon as possible!!
