SageCRM users should be able to lookup Accpac IC Item Location details to know what quantities are available by location, what is on PO order, OE order, etc. This would enable salespeople to let their customers know if something is in stock

  • THIS IS WHAT CRM CUSTOMIZATION IS FOR.

  • But this is what the integration should already have built in. CRM has integration points w/ Sage Accpac, but is not fully integrated to CRM.

  • Ron B. obviously makes a living out of CRM customisation. Good luck to you Ron.

The simple fact is Sage promotes "seemless" intergration between ERP & CRM which clearly, from a users/administrators point of view & day-to-day experience with Sage CRM is completely misleading.

  • Have you checked out the current Integration between Sage Accpac ERP 5.6 and SageCRM 6.2? If you look on the O/E Inquiry Tab of a Customer within SageCRM you will find a “Customer Price List” button, which when clicked shows everything requested here and more. It also takes into account the customer's pricing.

  • Rob, you are correct but you have to drill into the Customer, then to O/E Inquiry then to Customer Price List. What if a customer asks you on the phone "how many widgets do you have in stock?". The reply now is "Ummmmm...give me 10 minutes to find that for you". If we are to be serious about CRM being used by salespeople they have to be able to find whats in stock, whats expected to be in stock and the price of the items.

  • This still needs addressing. The new integration between CRM7 and Accpac 6 is better as you can see the item availability while entering an order but it does only show you qty on hand and not those on PO/SO. Either having a drilldown option when entering the order or having a full blown item integration would work wonderfully.

    Alternatively, some better customisation tutorials.

I think the existing itemdetails.asp page could be utilised if I could create an initial page to allow item lookup which pulls the item from a view. Click a hyperlink to be taken to itemdetail.asp and be shown the availability. All without going through a complicated customer related drilldown process. No idea how to do any of this of course!

  • I would like to see Lot Traking in CRM so our salesreps can select a specific lot in a specific locaton when creating sales order
