There needs to be a security option to toggle allowance of only system generated document numbers (where pertinent). If/when a user overwrites the system default with something else, it can be extremely difficult to resolve.

• Though it can be customised it should be part of ERP it self, may be an option to enable or disable.

• I agree - users are always absent mindedly changing the system generated number. It would be really helpful if Sage could pop up a warning or restrict completely- I struggle to see a reason for amending the system generated number.
