If a filter is applied and saved in a finder, it would be helpful if the main form query was also limited to this filter. For example, I want to cycle through all inactive vendors and make a minor change. It would be nice to set a filter and then use the next record button to step through and make my changes.

Agreed - we used to be able to do this (until 4.2 I think)
