Accpac would greatly benefit from having a basic manufacturing module available within the program. Something that small job shops would be able to implement and tie into IC, PO, and OE without needing an extensive 3rd party software application. Some basic scheduling features, material planning based on IC BOM's, barcode based labor data collection, and some simple job paperwork reports would go a long way. MS Great Plains has a solution for this that will be available soon.

Yes, its very very important requirement, if same can be built in Accpac like PJC. will help all us greatly to target lite manufacturing domain.
There is more than one 3rd party product available, explore those options.
AutoSimply is quite good. I recomend that you contact them.
Before they do this I would like Project Job Costing to be updated. Need better reports and ability to change multiple Jobs at a time, Ie close, add Projects and Categories. One by one doesn't work for large numbers of projects and having to create Macros can be a messy work around.
None of the 3rd party options we have seen does the job. We need an easy to use, fully integrated work order specific to a sales order, with full customisation of the materials, sales quotes, progress tracking, then costing specific to the sales order. AutoSimply and Misys are not suitable for this. There appeared to be a 3rd party product a few years ago but it just disappeared. To be long-term viable the solution as to be part of the Sage product, not dependent on the vagaries of 3rd party developers.
SagePro ERP is ancient software, but had a much better manufacturing solution and visibility than Sage 300 AccPac with or without AutoSimply. AutoSimply works to a point, but visibility is nonexistent in the OPS Inquiry IC Items Inquiry and it really needs to be integrated for complete visibility.
3rd party addons are not the solution. In a sense, they are part of the problem, because it tempts Sage to think they have been let off the hook. 3rd-party products have their own variable architectures, interfaces, quality control, support etc, and come and go at the whim (or failure) of the developers, so we can not and should not have to rely on them. However, they do demonstrate the viability of the solutions, thereby proving that Sage could have done them in the first place.
Additions like scrap adjustments, being able to see wip committed in IC ops enquiry, linking SO to BOM would be great. Or Integrate Autosimply completely with OPS enquiry screen and ensure WIP visibility in IC, OE
More and more companies started using PJC for custom order manufacturing, especially companies involved with construction and architectural or professional engineering material and mining industries.
PJC is a module providing us the tables, we design our own solution based on company's specific business processes. What makes PJC unique is it tree table structre and integration with all Sage 300 ERP modules, and CRM and 3rd Party products. Recently, improvements in Business Intelligence reporting and added new MS SQL features and web interface will bring PJC solution to other industries where companies can afford licensing fees for Oracle, however can develop their own unique process with an ERP solution that has solid financial busines process logic.

This should just be included with any ERP and not have to be purchased from another vendor. Time for SAGE 300 to move into the 20th century.
