Can currently create a "Task" but not an "Appointment" from Groups or Workflow action.

When you click on the button to create the task or appointment change the action from for example a "To Do" to a "Meeting" and it will then show on your Calendar as an appointment instead of a task. This is a built in feature that has been around for many versions but very few people know about it. Additionally, this only works one way from task to appointment.
