Provide some standard and easily customisable templates for Income Statements and Balance Sheets. There are no standard financial reports in this system

• A standard P&L & balsheet ought to carry: period actual, period budget, variance, variance %, YTD actual, YTD budget, variance, variance %.
  
  That ought to cater for most users, even if somewhat too complicated for a few users.
  
  The most important thing is the distinction between period and YTD. Both sets of figures are relevant and both are necessary to perform a logic check on the numbers.
  
  Much the same could be said for the trial balance Crystal reports.
