I find I use the Invoice and Receipt batch lists often to find various details for a transaction as it is the most complete summary of all info regarding a transaction.
However, when there is a very large list of posted batches in the system, having to scroll through all the batches becomes tedious, and sometimes impossible if I don't remember exactly what the date or title I gave to the batch.
I just thought it would be a simple add-on to include a search feature (like all the other search boxes).

Yes! We have hundreds of batches in our g/l batch list so it's very hard to locate a specific batch if you can't remember the batch number. Being able to do a search for a word in the batch title would be great.
When I search for a specific item within a large amount of data, I print a report of it to "preview" and then use the find in the preview to search for it. You can print a whole year of batches and it will find it in no time.
That works Sylvia, but still, an archaic method
You shouldn't have to print a report, either as a "preview" or an export to find an item. Every extra keystroke necessary means less productivity.
