Would like to have cluster account For GL COA compare to create one Account for each department/division or any segment. Currently if we have lots of segment there will be thousand of Account created. A kind like multidimensional analysis on some other ERP system

  • Very Good to have this, demanded by many prospect, users

  • But do you really want every segment to be available for every account? Becomes a management issue. Must include a way to limit which segments can be used for which accounts.

  • Not all account, but this can be limit by using feature like GL Security. BUt at least by using Cluster account we don't need to create hundred thousands of account. For bigger company with lot of sector/department current Accpac Account is so troublesome

  • I can't see the difference between a "cluster account" and a "cluster" of separate accounts.

    How is the existing functionality deficient?

  • That's exactly what I am faced with right now. The Client has 17 segments in a second segment and 48 in a third segment. The third segment is where budgeting and posting is happening. However, they need to be able to optionally rollup to second or first segment during reporting.
