Be able to either
a) change a vendor\customers currency from USD to NZD, or NZD to FJD etc.
b) some companies bill in multiple currencies depending on what they are doing, Service Fees, Maintenance, or renewals or even different types of inventory I have seen billed in different currencies. In Accpac you have to have Vendor-A tied to USD, Vendor-B tied to CAD, Vendor-C tied to ZAR when they are all the same vendor.
Other products in the mid market such as MS Dynamics-NAV let you invoice in any currency against a vendor\customer.

Agreed. This has been requested by almost all of my clients using Multi-currency AR and AP.
Yes I agree it is a pain!
Even Exact for Windows v3.73 enabled customers and vendors to be multi-currency!
Even worse, if you create multiple customers/vendors to be able to handle multi-currencies then the usage of SageCRM is crippled: IT MAKES NO SENSE to have duplicate companies in CRM, but you are forced to do it in Sage Accpac to handle multi-currency billing. Thus, we end up with duplicate companies in Sage CRM.
This ability to do mutlicurrency for a vendor and customers is long long overdue!!!
As a BP we have just lost yet another large sale to a competitor because we can't invoice in more than one currency on a customer account. The competition is winning in this and a very few other fundamental areas of functionality.
This is a regular request on demos and our only answer is create multiple customers and vendors one per currency. Really needs urgent redress to keep multi nationals coming thru the door. We do lose sales as a direct result of this.
This is a must feature - clients do not like duplication of customers per currency just to issue invoices in multiple currencies to the same client. After all SAGE 300 is supposed to be an international product and multi-currency should be a major strength.
And also be able to disable Tax Reporting Currency if it is not applicable in your country. The multi-currency setup in Sage 300 is the most complicated and confusing I have seen.
Agree that would be a very functional addition. Have been hammered for years from particular clients about this.
Agree with all the above. should be relatively easy, especially as you allow customers and vendors to receive and be paid in any currency. All that would be needed when creating a sales invoices it to ask which currency the invoice needs to be in, then use the currency tables. When posting to GL, it already converts to the functional currency, so just do the same.
Hi Since you are marketing the Sage 300 as a multi currency product this feature will be a huge plus.
I have a client asking repeatedly for this. He is threatening to abandon Sage as not proper multi-currency system.
We have a client that has a foreign vendor.
The foreign vendor sends invoices in EUR , USD and ZAR
Their functional currency is NGN (Naira)
How can we trade without duplicating the vendor with different currencies in AP Vendor profile.
How can we raise requisition without duplicating the vendor with different currencies in AP Vendor profile.?
The client is not happy.
Please any way out?
The client don't want to create:
Vendor A - EUR
Vendor A - USD
Vendor A - ZAR
Please Sage are you aware of any third party application that can resolve this?
I have contacted Sage and there is no solution yet.
Please Sage attend to this issue urgently.
We have a module Sage300 Document Currency Module (E/H)
You can input Select Different Currency during PO, OE for Vendor/Customer.
The Default Vendor/Customer currency become Statement currency.

This a crucial feature that's been missing from SAGE for a long time.
What's causing the hold-up on implementing it?
