For entities like Person, Company, Opp, Case etc, there is very often a need to display more info in the Recent list. For example you may have 2 Companies named Bragain Mart. How do you know which one is the right one if they are both in your recent list. Adding the Customer ID, Phone Number or another field would be exteremely helpful.

Also allowing to change what tab the recent list goes to would be great.

All this can be done for new entities, but not standard ones.
