The 5.6 Bank Rec is a vast improvement. However you need to be able to see more information about each transaction on the Reconciliation page. For example with payments, need to be able to see batch, entry, document number (of the payment), payment code, reference, description, payee details. For deposits, need to show deposit number, batch, batch description. For all transaction types need to be able to see all available reference information.

Then, as per another idea already posted, all columns need to be available for sorting, including amount column.

The main reason for this is that the details on the bank statement may not necessarily be the "Number" shown on the bank rec (cheque or deposit number). For example, with EFT payments, the reference number available when you do the EFT transaction is not the reference number on the bank statement (with Oz Internet banking, at least).

Another reason is the matter of principle that whatever information is missing will always be needed.
