I would like to add that the whole update process needs to be simplified, i.e. click an Update button somewhere and have the whole thing taken care of. This should be a simple end user task, not something that results in frustrating support calls.
It would be ok, as long as we were notified that an update had taken place. We have some special tax rules and have to reset the limits every update.
This was completed in the March 2010 PUP update and onwards. Both Canadian and US payroll PUP.
