I have a client on version 5.6 who is extremely upset about warning messages that pop up when putting in taxable miscellaneous payments in AP or miscellaneous receipts in AR.

If you enter a 1 (or appropriate tax group) in the tax group field because it is a taxable payment/receipt in AP/AR, it comes up with a warning message that the tax group has changed.

You then need to click on close to continue to enter your details.

Is there any way to not get this warning message?
Interestingly, if you get rid of the 1 again to make it not taxable, it doesn’t warn you, so there is something askew there because it should warn you either way!

Anyway, it is silly for the warning to come up when no detail lines have been entered, I would imagine that it should only come up if someone changes the tax group after detail lines had been entered, because only then will it cause an inbalance. Then and only then, should the warning come up.

If this could be looked at and perhaps included in a service pack if not a hotfix because it is adding keystrokes for no reason.
