We have about 20 companies in Accpac ERP edition. Currently if we give the database load ability to a certain user, it will allow him to load data into any one of the 20 companies. This is too dangerous since he could easily load his data into someone else's company! The load should be restricted to only the company that he has access to.

• I disagree. The database load function should be restricted to administrative users only, and those users just need to be careful and attentive to what they are doing. Also, in my experience it's more common to load to a DIFFERENT database (like a test, or archive, or copy) rather than the same database.
