The account code change software allows users to enter in accounts that they want to combine where one of the accounts is part of a completely different accounts allocation percentages

when a account code change for this is posted in accpac, the data gets corrupted and they get an error message that the GL Allocation Acct instructions field is out of range

creates orphan records which data integrity will try and results in fiscal set error messages taht says transactions do not exist

please change validation of account code change to check and see if accounts being combined are part of a allocation to another account and if so tell them cannot perform change unless the allocation of the account is removed
