To be able to build a report but ONLY show the summary results. i.e. I want to see the count of people in the state of Texas who are Customers. Now you have to display the records and summarize at the bottom. You can sort of do this with a Cross-tab but the output isn't desirable. A "Show summary Only" checkbox would be great.

You can wih CRM 200 by creatng a SQL view and using this a base for a report, or even a dashboard list.
Yes, but you shouldn't have to create a SQL view to get a summary report. Reporting overall needs an update.
