Allow a concurrent user licensing model in ACCPAC CRM, in addition to the current named user scheme. All, or many, of ACCPAC CRM customers like us have built self service (ewaress) front ends to get around allow self service users to have access to some of the controls a named user has in eware. As such, for larger user shops like ours, its not in Sage's best interest to limit licensing to named users only.

This is planned for CRM 7.0 (at least in the UK licensing model). Hopefully it makes it into the North American license model.
There is confusion on this issue. Much of the v7 documentation mentions it, but North American Sage does not know about it. But I agree, would really help sell it if we could get concurrent licensing. On the flip side, would be nice to have named users for ACCPAC for CFO, etc who don't want to get a you don't have a license message.
Providing concurrent licensing as an option for the SageCRM to Sage ERP Accpac integration is being currently tested and worked on with a planned release early in 2011. When the concurrent licensing model is released it will be available for SageCRM version 7.0 and will support integrations to both Sage Accpac version 5.6 and 6.0.
