I just used the Accpac new release 5.6 with service pak upgrade, I found that the bank module has improved; however, the line numbering on each check description was not exported to the cash account if we need to capture all check deposited in the cash account for reporting and inquiry purposes.
For example, when bank batch posted to gl, (the total deposit in one batch per reference entry is good) the line number at the bottom of the white screen need to capture each transaction per cash account entry and repeat the same for the rest of the transactions so that the transcations will show up in the cash account when we need to run the reports and view in the inquiry level. Currently, the cash account is captured as a total for all transactions in the deposit. If I view the cash account inquiry or run the report, I do not see the transactions level, it's blank. If I need to view the transcations, I have to drill down to see it.
In order to fix this, the cash account should be repeated on each check transaction per line number located at the bottom of the white screen. If there are five checks, the cash account should have 5 lines on the credit side and 5 lines on the debit side for the gl accounts for a total of 10 lines. Each pair of credit and debit should have the same description per check transaction.
Please fix asap as it currenlty does not allow us to view or run the cash account on the detail level.

This was requested 2 years ago and nothing has happened. Are you listening in to our comments and suggestions. This is a waste of time if you want us to tell you about your product that needs to be improved. Since then, there are 4 votes on this but nothing has been done. How many votes does Sage need to cast in to review our concerns? I went in today, 10/29/12 and reviewed if there is anyone requesting this and it turned out that it's from me who generated this request. When will this feature be turned on? I am not happy with this site about casting our ideas and comments. It doesn't work as you can see. Why bother. This will be the last time that I will go in here.
