During DOS Accpac, the users are allowed to enter the extended selling price and the system was intelligent to perform calculation of unit price. This helps solve issues when customer required to enter a bulk price instead of a particular unit selling price. While the Windows version does not allow that to happen. It would be idea to give users choices which they enjoy during DOS days. So please consider create a patch for version 5.6 to allow users to do so.

Agreed. This was a feature in earlier versions of Accpac for windows - at least to 4.2. I hadn't noticed that it disappeared and have been advising clients to use it!
No doubt that Extended Price cannot be changed in O/E Order Entry, but it CAN be changed in O/E Shipment and O/E Invoice. Once the extended price been changed, the unit price should change accordingly as well. Otherwise, the Invoice is very misleading/confusing where the quantity multiply with unit price does NOT equal to the extended price. This doesn't make sense at all!
System allowed to change for Shipment and Invoice , but not Order. Order is the beginning step to create quote , order and send to customer, why the extended price can not be changed ? It is un-logic at all
If this is a mistake during design, I believe we have reason to fix it.
