This issue is one where the Payroll module is simply printing T4s incorrectly. The issue is this: if the employee is of Native Status and has income in box 71 then the CPP insurable earnings must print in box 26. If not, then CRA has been issuing refunds to the status employees for the amount of CPP paid. The unusual thing here is that if the person is not of Native Status, then box 26 is generally left blank.

This issue affects ALL companies employing Frist Nations individuals.
