In Sage MAS Intelligence, there is a module called the Report Designer which allows users to, using a drag-and-drop interface similar to a pivot table designer, create customized Financial Reports. It will make creating reports such as GL trial balance by column much easier than just using the Report Manager. The Report Designer module also contains a tool to allow users to create "what-if" scenarios using their existing Financial Reports.
It will be great if we can get the same module in Sage Accpac.

I think this feature would make it easier than designing financial reports directly from the G/L tables. Plus the drag-and-drop interface is much more user friendly and intuitive - imagine being able to design custom financial reports in seconds... This would be a great addition to the Sage Accpac Intelligence product.
I just took the Sage Intelligence class for Accpac ERP, i was extremely disappointed to learn that this product is not up to the task of doing financial statements. This is an absolute must to have in the product. I can not suggest this as a product to replace the again Financial Link Pro.

When I was in Denver this product was demoed to us and from the demo we had the impression that it had the functionality that we were looking for. Unfortunately it was not what it seems and now we have clients with certain expectations that are going to be very difficult to meet. This is very frustrating to say the least. I think Sage needs to get this module in play ASAP.

After seeing a related demo of SAI for another OEM integration my clients were so excited to go back and try this Drag and Drop Financial Report designer then very disappointed when they found out Accpac is a few releases behind what they saw. They were going to purchase another Report Manager module, now they will wait until the update is released to Accpac. The cat is out of the bag, can we please have it for Accpac too!
Thank you,
