We would like to be able to have an option in the security settings to not allow users to change the appearance of the various input screens.

Some of our users like to move columns around in the input screens to suit their preferences (ei: invoice entry, g/l entry, etc.), but this can be a problem with training new team members because they are seeing the same screen in different configurations, depending on who they are training with and for which process.

We also have users who like to customize their finder fields and would like to be able to lock down the 'Key' and 'Settings' options as well.

These options are probably a non-issue for companies that have 1 or 2 users but because we have over 40 users who need access to over 500 company databases; if all 40 started moving things around in different companies you can image the dogs breakfast we'd have in a very short period of time. Ultimately, we are striving for more continuity.
