Why would any report generated be complete without a total?
Come on ACCPAC fix this age old problem - we keep getting promised it will be fixed in upgrades but as usual the totals are forgotton!

You'll need to be more specific. Most reports have totals.
P/O Purchase Order Action Summary Report (POACSUM1)
O/E Order Action Summary Report (OEORDACS)
As some examples
Purchase order history reports - summary and detail.
podhistv.rpt
poshistv.rpt
They only don't total because of old fashioned inefficient handling of variable decimal places- the results are forced to text in the formula.
Far better to use Crystal's decimal place format with a formula - so leaving the result as a true number that can be totaled with ease.
This thread is TWO YEARS old.
This is a real request from many clients. We read Stephen Smith's blog about the new, 'iterative' approach Sage wants to take. So get anyone (even me !) to re-visit your reports for this issue and release them in the next service pack. A few days work and you've suddenly done something!
But that's assuming someone reads this forum ...
Maybe something will happen after only a few more years.
