An excel report writer similar to the GL Financial Reporter would be of great use to many of our PJC sites. Currently we are creating WIP reports using Crystal Reports, which can become overly complicated for such a simple requirement. The PJC data structures aren't dissimilar to the GL tables, ie most of the information can come from 3 or 4 tables.

How about making everyone's Crystal reporting on PJC vastly simpler by Sage publishing a series of MS-SQL views for PJC, drawing out the most common info in flat views?
Most users are MS-SQL. Most queries are on standard info. More advanced queries can be linked from the views anyway.
Sage can achieve 80% of the result with a very small effort : )
Can you tell me how you are creating your wip reports in crystal. We have been on Sage for 6 months now and just installed Crystal but I am having a great deal of trouble trying ot create a wip report. Our audit is coming up soon too! Arghhh...
Have you tried Sage Accpac Intelligence. You can create a report from any module very easily and run it. For more info, please check out this microsite, has a ton of info about this new reporting solution:
