When choosing "Create Opportunity" or "Create Case" from a workfow rule, be able to choose which Workflow the Opp or Case belongs to. If you have more than one workflow you have to use asp or workarounds to achieve this. Also, if you only have 1 workflow but dont use the default workflow thats setup already from the system it wont be attached to a workflow at all. Also the "Convert to Opportunity" from the Leads area should work similarly.

This is a feature that has been around for years. The first rule at the top of the workflow tree needs to be a Primary Rule. When it is a primary rule you see it on the New pop out window. You can also add conditions so that the rule ONLY shows based on certain conditions that are in context. Such as User Territory or Team for example. As for convert to Opportunity from Workflow take the same rules just created and clone them and change them to transition rules and place them at the top of the workflow tree and this will allow the user to select the correct workflow for that respective opportunity.
