Accpac ERP 5.6 - Lot Tracking - Client has Lot Tracking and is upgrading from 5.4 to 5.6. In OE when entering sales orders and items that are marked with lots, .. When you enter the item on order quantity, the Lot screen pops up. The client wants to have the ‘Auto-Allocate From’ and the <F5> finder run and accepted with the first entry, and the ‘Auto-Alloc’ button accepted. This will then default the lot quantity allocation to whatever the default sort order is [as defined in IC Setup | Options]. This used to pop-up and auto-allocate in v5.4, but does not in v5.6. The client says it is too much work to have to manually go through the process mentioned above. They prefer to have this auto-allocate, just like before. Although this can probably be set up with an auto-macro, it should be an option within the program setup.
