The Government of Canada states on their website

"Filers may report payments on either a calendar or fiscal-year basis. Payments made on a fiscal-year basis do not have to be segregated into the calendar year in which they are paid."

Currently Sage Accpac does not have this option. Filers can only file by calendar year. This is a problem for companys that have filed by fiscal year in the past and are forced to change to calendar year in Sage Accpac. This involves contacting the government and notifying them of the change and then reassessing prior years. The option should be available to submit either way.

  • I agree, the option used to be there in prior versions and now it is not.

  • This is an absolute neccessity. Canadian companies need this for government compliance. This problem will cause major government compliance issues. Get your stuff together Sage.
