Change General Ledger Code needs to search all modules and change .

It seems to work only in the General Ledger Module. Needs to search all modules for GL code and change also. Spent ages trying to find why Cashbook batch wouldn't post only to find that the GL code for the bank account had not changed.

  • It does change GL code in all Sage modules. Cashbook is not a Sage module. It would mean Sage having to write the change code routine to take account of all 3rd party products. Not viable probably.

  • no but third party developers should support tools like the "change" products and build a library to support it. Technisoft do with Service Manager as an example.

  • Principally it supports all SDK 3rd party modules also. Check the "sgdll.ini" file in 3rd party folder under shared data. 3rd party modules' "change.dll" file should be there. You can feed it manually too.
