1. Should be able to reverse transaction order so most recent on top.
2. Should display in date order not source code order.
3. Should have a filter for the period at the top so you can select an individual month, not only an end month.
4. Should have a debit and a credit column.
5. Best of all it should be sortable by any column header.

Ideally there should be a summary screen for each account, containing the following, selectable by period :-

Opening balance, debits, credits and closing balance, both by MTD and YTD.
Followed by net for the period and year, budget for the period and year, previous year actual for the period and year and variance % from each.

As it is at the moment it is extremely difficult to obtain any overview of what is happening in an account, and for a financial controller trying to get a handle on trends it is extremely time consuming.
