Right now, all you can do is enter a standing order. You can't even enter a frequency suggest when the next one is due or anything.
Ideally, when you enter a standing order (which frankly should have a different set of numbering) you should be able to specifiy the frequency and approve/adjust the list of the next dates to be shipped. In our company, some are every 2 weeks, some 4 or 6, or 3 months or whatever.
Also, the frequency would be able to be adjusted as necessary, either by manually changing all dates (say the system only allows dates for 1 year), or by changing one date and the system automaticlly changes all the dates following according to the standing order frequency.
It would also be nice to be able to 'print' all standing orders on say a monthly basis (can be whatever frequency the user specifies).
In some ways, it would be somewhat like enhanced future orders. When a Day End is done, it searches for future orders to activate. Well, it could also search for standing ordesr due to be activated. Ideally, we could also put a lead time in there so that if the standing order is once every three months, and the product takes 2 weeks to produce, we could put in the standing order a 'lead time' so that the system would know to activate the order 2 weeks prior to the due date.
