Currently ACCPAC only gives the option to attach a salesperson to a customer.
We have clients that would like to have a salesperson assigned to a category instead. This is because some salespersons are responsible for selling certain category of items and receive commission based on these sales.
With the current setup it will not work because salespersons are assigned to customers. Different salespersons might be selling different items to the customers so if we attached the salesperson to the customer, the information would not be correct.
