When using Customer Inquiry or Vendor Activity once databases grow in size the order by funciton gets very cumbersome.
If the transactions could be filtered via date this would be very useful.

Where's the harm in allowing this filter, plus others?
Consider a show/hide filter section at the top of the trans history screen that you can set and hide. If a filter is set, change the colour of the show/hide button or line, so users don't forget they are being filtered.
With the change to the new screens in 6.1 Sage wont be tied to the old GUI, so more modern expand and hide functions should come into it. Giving the option of filtering on a wide range of data isn't much of a programming challenge, but is a great value add and just that little bit modern.
Once you get the hang of it, apply it to other key transaction listing screens - eg AP transactions.
