When running Periodic Processing and clearing Inactive GL Accounts, why can't it run through and tell you all the accounts that have history and can't be cleared and then give you the option of reporting them (so that you could do a quick update of them all) or giving you the option of clearing all the ones that can be cleared. The way it works now is ridiculous.
Often you want to make an account inactive and still want to clear off a lot of other accounts that were setup but are no longer needed and have not been used and should be deleted.

  • I am experiencing the same thing but the strange thing is that it doesn't have this behaviour on my test server. In version 5.4 it always ran through all the accounts and just notified you about ones it had to skip which is normal. I think there must be a bug.

  • Eva - by any chance do you have Audit Logger installed? I finally discovered that AU was causing the problem. Uninstall it and you can delete inactives normally.

  • Thanks Andy, will try
