On the payroll pre-check register, if an earning code is split amongst mulitple departments, the tax expense prints for each one. It would be nice to have the option to select to print in detail or summary -similar to the option to print the GL account descriptions.

Yes!!! Some of my paysheets run to two pages due to tax splitting.
