Payroll needs to report CPP and EI deficiencies either as part of the payroll register, or as a new report.

  • I believe you are asking for a PIER report from AccPac, so this can be looked at prior to running T4s or even early in a year to see if there are any deficiencies so they can be fixed in advance.

Other payroll service providers have these reports and they can be requested at anytime.

Would be nice if AccPac had this report built-in so it can be run at anytime to see if there are any EI or CPP deficiencies.

I have a Stonefield Query for Sage AccPac report developed to see if EI or CPP has been deducted correctly, but would be much nicer and cleaner if this type of information was included right in AccPac.

  • Is this included in the upcoming release?

  • Although it is possible to export the information and add a column to check the CPP and EI calculations the lack of such a report in Sage 300 makes it look inferior to software products that do include the report. Take Sage 50 for example.
