Can someone help - Ihave recently purchased National Accounts thinking it worked like "parent/child"accounts in other software, but when I go to enter a receipt in AR it just gives a list of child accounts not a list of transactions in the child accounts. I must be doing something wrong, surely that's not the way it's supposed to work

The issue is the ownership of the receipt - if allowed to allocate to other customers it would have to be part assigned to the multiple customers. Logically fine, but it raises some difficult design issues. Not sure its the highest priority.
It's my highest priority. In software programs I was using 23 years it was a standard part of accounts receivable.
You must be doing something wrong because child account transactions ae definately listed
You need to create the national acct as a customer too and assign it the same national acct code. When you do your receipt use that new customer number and it will list you all the transactions for the customers.
Thank you for the help - I've now got it working
