With the install of v6.0 or Accpac ERp you get a documentation link under help.
It points to all the new documentation under 6.0 i.e. almost nothing!

The documentation required now dates back for the vast bulk of it to version 5.5 and is available on-line but shockingly is not included in the V6.0 install!

1. All applicable documentation must be included in the istall and through the help documentation Link.
2. Try updateing some of it. I ask you a major version upgrade (for which we all pay handsomely) and we don't get updated docs! Its amature not what I expect from Sage.
3. Ensure your online chat staff know where to find it (not by referring me to ther phone support, why am I paying for this quality advice???)

Sort it out Sage.
Its not good enough.

  • I agree whole heartedly with this. There is nothing that explains how Certified Payroll should be used as one example. The help is largely inadequate and out of date in many areas. When it necessitates using a support case to find out how a feature should work (for which we now have to pay substantially) when it should be included in documentation, is offensive. It then adds insult to injury when the support tech has to escalate a functionality question to R&D. This really must be better documented

  • It's exactly what I expect from Sage

  • Please provide better documentation for .net xapi. All the methods and properties are documented, but there are no examples of how one would use these in real world scenarios as well as best practices. There are many functions that the document describes what it does but we do not actually have a clue how to practically use those functions.
