I am entering a bank transfer between a CAD account and a USD account. I do not have multicurrency. I need to be able to put in a negative bank charge to my foreign exchange GL account, BUT the system only allows positive amounts.

• I have the same problem and past versions of ACCPAC allowed a 'negative' service charge to be entered. Having multicurrency is an extra expense that is not necessary when a simple solution would work.

• I have a client who IS using multicurrency already and still needs to put in a negative in the "service charge" because they want to record the EXCHANGE GAIN on the sale of their Futures. They buy and sell future stocks and are required to record the gain on sale separately from the normal exchange (so they need BOTH multicurrency and the ability to put in a negative).
  
  Used to be able to do it in past versions.
