SMTP Authentication for email add-in in Accpac Intelligence

There is an Excel Add-in for Accpac Intelligence that allows you to email AI reports via SMTP. This works perfectly, except if the SMTP server requires authentication (Which almost all do). The ability to specify a user name and password in the add-in command line, that is then fed to the SMTP server, would solve this problem.

  • Sage Intelligence Reporting now offers advanced Distribution available directly within Excel and supports SMTP authentication. This was implemented in Sage 300 ERP 2012 (v6.1)
