One of my first big disapointments about Accpac is that there are SO many windows to open and close, especially in "IC Items and Price Lists". I work in purchasing and manage inventory, and I always have about 10-15 windows open at any given time. It would be smart (and a huge time-saver for all users) to group similar windows together, and inside those windows use tabs. For example, Items, Vendor Details (even Vendor Contract Costs), Item Pricing, Customer Details, Location Details, Manufacturer's Items, Reorder Quantities, etc, can all become one window, with tabs within for each operation.
It would avoid the irritation of getting the message 'Record has been modified by another program' after spending 10 minutes making major changes in "Items" but forgot I also changed a minor detail in "Vendor Details" just before.
