Balance Sheet account that has a balance but has no activity in the reporting fiscal year is not been reported on a Trial Balance Report, unless you select "Include accounts with no activity". If the account has a balance it should be reported regardless.

There should also be an option in the Trial Balance report to include or not include zero balance accounts.
