When creating a new item, avoiding having to visit the Units tab improves accuracy and productivity.

Set default Units of Measure, Conversion factors and Stocking UOM per item Category (per Location?), with the option to allow or prevent change per Item.

• And/or - when you create an item by displaying and editing an existing item, the UOM and tax data is not copied from the original item. Please change so that these fields are copied from the original item.

• It is really annoying when creating items to have to tab to the UOM screen to create a stocking unit of measure and click YES.
