Prevent users from changing/modifying OE Order No's

I have had customers requesting a block on users changing/modifying the OE Order No. before posting the order. A tick box turning this feature on/off in the OE Setup area would be very useful.
This may be useful in other modules such as PO as well.

  • Agree that the option would be very useful if be added for all auto created document numbers in the core modules.

  • Definitely a requirement for a sequential numbering system. We have tried hiding the number field but this stops users from calling up the order to modify, for example, the quantity ordered.
