As the title says
Customer or Supplier changes address, delivery address, contact details etc allow the change to be done on the AR details page and flow through to all open orders / purchase orders etc so that invoicing, cheques etc will get correct details sthereon.

I've seen other complaints on this that refer specifically to delivery addresses or only invoice address etc. They should all update automatically

  • Why William? Your company relocates. Your notify your customers and suppliers of the new address to send remittances and invoices to. Why should they have to go into each and every open order / PO etc and have to alter the details?

    We for example work on a manufacturing cycle of about 3 months and can have upwards of 100 open orders for a large customer (Example Wallmart / ASDA) When they move premises or open a new and improved distribution center why should we then send documents for those 100 plus orders to the incorrect address? Worse still the ship t address needs to be changed to allow a timed delivery to the new address.

    I agree there needs to be controls and only senior personnel be able to alter the details but it really needs to be done!
