Customers and Purchaseres want to know freight charges before the items are shipped, not just add them afterwards. They can be entered as Misc charges or non-stock items, but have to be calculated and inserted manually, if the operator remembers to. Users are asking for them to be calculated and entered automatically, using rules and tables based on item weight, volume, regional rates, ship-via etc etc. This is to be integral to OE and PO and maintained by the users, not an add-in that depends on outside freight company systems.
