The IAP only allows access to the XAPI, a Lanpak is required to access the COMApi - the preferred way to integrate with Sage ERP 300. I'd like to suggest the creation of a different sort of license that would allow access to the COMApi, priced like an IAP but that would be limited in some way. One limitation might be that the connection cannot be used to invoke the Accpac Desktop or UI elements.

Hi Django,
Please explain the benefits of your proposal a little more to help me better understand your request.
Thanks,
When integrating to Sage 300 via the COMAPI, you need a Lanpak for your integration program to "login" to the system. This is costly if you are just doing an integration, due to the price of lanpaks. Django is suggesting a cheaper way to connect to the COMAPI (effectively logging into Sage 300 programmatically). I like his idea of having some sort of checkbox in the user setup to say "API User Only", so that "user" could not login to the desktop UI.
Can any one help us how can we setup IAP and which we can optimize it through API, because we have no idea to us IAP?
