Client has advised the following;
There are times that we enter an sales order for a customer but we put the order on hold for a specific reason. It seems that in Sage even though we have committed the stock to the order, the quantities committed are not recognised. So it means we can potentially oversell the item.
We have situations where we want to use the “hold” facility but are concerned that it will jeopardise our stock commitments. Is there a way we can change the way the hold works so that stock commitments are recognised?
So we would like to request an option that you can indicate that whether on an on hold order you can mark whether you would like the detail lines qty committed to be included in the stock counts. It should not ignore them if the order is on hold.

Absolutely agree with this. We place orders on hold for various reasons, but we still want the stock committed.
I think a tick box option in the OE setup options enabling 'Include Orders On Hold When Calculating Committed Stock' would be a good idea.
